There are a few things I like about this photo. Its a candid snapshot of what the girls got up to this morning. Brianna has giant hands because she is wearing Dad’s gloves and Kenzie is politely looking the same direction as everyone else.

I took my camera with me on a dog walk this morning hoping to find an interesting first shot of the year. We had another 2 inches of snow fall overnight. Every step I took required my absolute attention because it was so slippery. The snow was compacted in one step and then soft in another. I managed only two photos. This one will serve as a reminder of what our neighborhood looks like as we enter the new year.
